The Quebec government has recommended that presence on campus be minimized in the coming weeks. Please note that to comply with this recommendation, courses will be delivered online.

Should you need to come to the campus, please wear a mask, respect the 2-meter physical distancing rule, and wash your hands frequently.

Canada College follows the advice of public health agencies and is doing everything in its power to ensure courses are effectively taught while maintaining our staff and students’ wellbeing.

The pandemic situation generated by coronavirus (COVID-19) is a global health issue that is affecting the lives of many students and their families all over the world. Canada College is fully committed to prevent the introduction and spread of Covid-19 into its campuses and communities across Canada. Therefore, we would like to brief you on what to expect and what you need to do to make your trip and stay in Canada pleasant. As a first step, please read, complete and return the Covid-19 International Student Quarantine Plan Pledge form.

Before you travel, you must plan to quarantine or isolate in a suitable place. Please consider options within your financial means, such as:

  • hotel
  • motel
  • other paid housing
  • friends or family, as long as you won’t expose anyone who:
  • is not part of your travel group
  • is at risk of more severe outcomes of COVID-19

The Government of Canada has developed virtual tools to support the health and wellness of those who live on Canadian soil during these unprecedented times. We are asking you to please download the ArriveCAN app (iOS, Android or web format). Make sure you have the official version by downloading it HERE

At least 48 hours before arriving in Canada you will need to submit your information using this App, which helps you to:

  • provide mandatory information that's required for entry into Canada
  • reduce your wait time and points of contact at the border
  • provide the Government of Canada with voluntary updates on your quarantine compliance and the development of any symptoms during the 14 days after arriving in Canada

Please remember that upon entry in Canada, you will need to be in quarantine for 2 weeks. During this period, you will not be allowed to leave the room where you are quarantining. You will be asked to undergo a health check before leaving the port of entry (airport in Canada). Immigration and Border Officers at the airport will also ask you about your 14-day quarantine plan explaining also how you will respect your quarantine plan, confirmation of a suitable place to quarantine, and how meals and basic necessities will be provided to you.

No one should travel when sick. Commercial airline restrictions may also prevent you from boarding your plane if you are sick.
